Is there a set Procedure for becoming the CWU local rep?
How does one go about becoming the new Rep, if there's already a Rep in place but we're not happy with him?
where do I get a Union Rep Nomination form from?
And am i right in thinking, that the Nomination form has to stay up for 28 days?

If you are unhappy with your rep you can have a vote of no confidence in him/her.
Petition the office, make sure only CWU members vote and make sure everyone writes and prints their name clearly. Send it to your Branch.
A meeting should be called so the rep can have a right of reply - to explain what he did and why. You then vote.
Don't expect your Branch to help you in the process, they will try and protect "their man" and rightly so.
Also remember it will be this same Branch that you will rely on for support if elected.
Different branches may have different procedures.

I think it is better to talk..
Without knowing any of the details it is very difficult to comment but:
You need to talk to the members. How strong is the feeling in your office and how much support can you be sure of.
You need to talk to the rep and make him aware of the situation.
You need to talk to the Branch about your concerns and your intentions.
You need to find a solution that involves the least animosity and has the support of the majority.
You'll need to be able to do that if you want to be a rep.

Write to CWU HQ and inform them of mis=representation or ask the whole office to stop paying subs.
