It would appear that that RM managers have already started on the trend of revenge. We went back in on thurs night as the strike was suspended to find 11 other managers had been brought in to help clear the mail and work on the frames after a heated argument we all met and after lenghty discussion decided not to walk out unofficially but to work correctly that night according to 318's this trend carried on on friday night untill we were told not to by our office rep and area rep, on going in tonight we find out that our assistant night rep has now been placed on a conduct code for fri night's action!!! and the area rep and office rep have we believe ( as yet unconfirmed) had there release from duties removed by managment. This regardless of the fact were not working to our 318's as it would involve shutting down all 9 machines at once for breaks etc.
This smacks tottaly of revenge and heavey handed behaviour by RM managers who believe we are tied by not being able to do unofficial walkouts as this would play into there hands. I fully believe we should work correctly and shut the machines down etc untill the threat is taken away from our union reps but without causing them more bullying. I believe that are they are deliberatly trying to get us to walk out with this provocation. Lets hope that the big union bosses dont sell their own reps down the line with the rest of us

Get in touch with your Div Rep and make HQ aware of what is going on.
They need to pull back their scab managers or it will blow again. I am aware of other DO's and Mail Centre's where tension is running high and one small incident like this one will mean unofficial action.
Another example of the screws taking advantage of the suitation is that our screw today put the new start times to take place on 17th sept up on the notice board. ARE they playing games or are they telling us that it doesnt matter what happens with the talks, fcuk you were going ahead with the ex/action anyway. IF THIS IS THE CASE THEN BILLY & DAVE SHOULD PULL THIER HEADS OUT OF THE SAND AND CONTINUE THE ACTION RIGHT NOW. I TO CAN SEE A MASSIVE RESPONCE AND THEN OUR TWO LEADERS WILL HAVE A BIT OF A PROBLEM. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
Ask your screw that put it up ulster postie where the 'CWU agreement' to this is and the bit of paper you havn't signed agreeing to it, they did all that in my office, we said the above and it disappeared, for now at least.
