QUESTION 2

Going to push my luck here with my 2nd question of the day after my initial question resulted in a pleasing answer, the question is: Is a 30 minute allowance supposed to be in our 318 now we are on the Park & Loop duties, the reason for the question is that managers are I believe on a generous bonus for the 30 minute WTL, therefore I feel we should have the 30 minutes.

Next WTL session..time it! When your DIM says, "Just a quick one...I don't want to keep you off your frames...I know you all want to get out!" Just say, "Hang on we're meant to have 30 mins for this!" See what his reaction is. Bet he's not happy!

I might try it myself, don't know if I'll have enough neck to sit and have a cup of tea when everyone's buggered off...just to make up the 30 mins!

Each Delivery Employee must have a weekly 30-minute WTL session as a national standard. This must be included when planning duties. The majority of Delivery Offices currently hold their WTL sessions on days when traffic volumes are traditionally lighter. In most cases this is currently Tuesday. However, in larger offices, the number of sessions needed to be held in order to fulfil the weekly requirement of one 30-minute session per employee results in sessions needing to be held on the other days of the week
