Let's keep a sense of proportion.

Most of us maybe disappointed that IA has been suspended, and in my view, quite rightly so. Do not, Comrades, make the mistake
of blaming ourselves if there isn't a decent outcome negotiated on our behalf by our senior officers. If on Sept.4 it becomes apparent
we've been let down, yet again, by those negotiating on our behalf, do not whatever you do, jack in your union card. WE are
the union, not Billy Hayes, not Dave Ward , US.
If the deal, if one's reached, is not up to scratch, vote it out the door. If a deal is somehow imposed on us, and it's a crock
of sh.te, unite together and oppose it through what's termed as unofficial action.
Remember this, every union can be a veritable Tiger, the teeth of that Tiger has to be it's members. Our union only got this far
because it bared it's teeth, us. We can, if necessary, in the future, bite again.

Nothing, but nothing , would please Lamebrain & Dozier more, than if we commited hari kari, and just gave up the tremendous
spirit we've shown thus far. WE ARE THE CWU , WE ARE A TIGER , TRY AND SWINDLE US , WE'LL DELIVER A VERY
NASTY BITE. That's the message we should send to not only RM execs, but the CWU hierarchy as well. :cool

Whatever it takes, mate. One thing that is sure and certain is that the membership cannot do nothing. Not this time.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

sell out

Post by gspot01 »

Well said Dirty Harry, couldnt have done better myself.

As for a sell out, we have the final vote, if its a bad deal vote NO If its good vote YES but remember that you aint gonna get everything u want. Its a bit of cat and mouse, concession to you and concession to me.

We would all like to get all the concessions, but even the union agree that RM need to modernise and in doing so the job changes, its minimizing the effect it has on us is the unions problem.

Well done to all posties who put the pressure on RM and forced them round the table, lets just wait and see what comes of it. :pray [/b]
