If you're suspended, you haven't been found guilty of anything (yet). You might be right, but morally it would be wrong for RM to take that stance.

However, I believe that if they do successfully prosecute you then under the POCA (proceeds of crime act) they can recover costs from various assets pensions being one. If however they offer you the chance to resign then your pension should be unaffected.

They can still prosecute you even if you do leave the company as many posties guilty of theft have found to their chagrin.
