stage 2 to stage 3
can royal mail move you from a stage 2 to a stage 3 without interviewing or issuing the stage 2, as i was off sick and trigged a stage 2 but no1 bothered to interview me or issue me with a stage 2, now im off sick again an the manager phoned me and said you will be on a stage 3 when you return, is this right can they do this?

No... Get your rep involved,they can't issue a stage three without issuing a stage two,you may have triggered a two but it hasn't been issued !

Even though you triggered a stage 2 the fact that you have gone sick again without the stage 2 interview now means that your 2nd bout of sickness will go 'with' the stage 2 and not up to a stage 3.

i wouldn't listen to this "advice" if i were you!!
for a start, you could be dismissed, then you'd be out of a job - in a recession!!
going to an employment tribunal is not guaranteed to be successful, and even if you are successful, royal mail are not forced to give you your job back.
you best see your cwu legal and medical rep or phone cwu hq to get some proper legal advice.
