Reactions on August 13th?

Hi,

I see from the CWU & BBC sites that RM are still intending to go ahead with imposing the changes to delivery times etc on Monday 13th August. What kind of reaction do you think there will be from workers affected by the changes? More unofficial actions?

I also heard it was September. I also heard a RUMOUR that early start allowance is gonna be protected for LIFE and not the usual 3 years. Has anyone else heard anything similar as I have only heard this from one (good) source?

We were told by our manager the same thing in out Work Time Loads of Lies session so not sure if its true, but he was reading from a script, he kept fumbling over the big words.

No more Sunday collections which in my office means no more Sunday work. The only people affected are the strike breakers

but because we had no WTLL today they don't know this yet

. I'll be laughing at them tomorrow (not to their face because I'd get into trouble with my DUM)

just because they said it's coming in september 17th doesn't mean it's gonna be . . . . . i've never believed a screw before and I'm not gonna start now . . . . . . so just because they tell us we have to accept it we're supposed to bend over and take it . . . . . no way, we must fight this to the bitter end and do all we can to get a fair deal for all
