Do managers receive bonus payments based on office savings ?
Do they receive a percentage - or a fixed amount ?
Are they worth it ?

They get lots of small bonuses against different things including accidents, complaints, quality etc which add up to (I believe) 10% of salary if all achieved.
There is one for hitting budget, but no share of savings as such.
As to whether they're worth it, it depends, some maybe, most probably not!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Bonus ? What a joke !! I wouldnt pay my manager a tuppence, Hes a bout as good as a chocolate tea spoon in a cup of tea !!!!

Performance related pay (bonus) is a part of the managers pay scale.

Why would anyone care what they get...I believe its paid in June.... Lucky for them its paid on Group Profit so they would have got nowt if it was just Royal Mail Letters. Also they get paid for quality.... There new pay deal is for deploying revisions £1000 like us...
