Change of hours

I'm not that clued up all at on the regulations, but from similar recent shift time changing threads, I thought it was 28 days notice.

Surely the "family friendly" regs have been reviews at top level to come up with a policy, as a result of such shift changes?

If such shift patterns kicked in at my depot, which would mean 1230-1700 for 22.5 hour PTers, the management have no chance of sending out "mercenary" ovetime bookers for absences and cut-offs in the dark until gone 1900 each night!

Are you sure it's not just the last wave coming in at 0900, plus I thought last letter in rural had to be done by 1500, so even if you are all on rurals you'd have 90-120 mins doing nothing.
Ask for the WSM plan, on that plan will be when each office gets it's 3 waves, should be a little plainer after looking at that. Even our PT's don't start that late.
I'd get your ADR over a bit smartish and see what they know.
