Got a lovely email from our Billy today asking me to get in touch with my MP
and request that he sign EDM 1408 which is about preserving the USO under a privatised RM.
Are we already privatised Billy?
I dont want privatisation of RM as I dont feel that there are any benefits to the public BUT
if/when we are privatised then I couldn't really give a toss about the USO.
The CWU should be putting ads in the papers for the public to read. They should be
putting out ads on TV for the public to view so that they can see how big a mess
this privatisation is going to bring.
They SHOULDN'T be giving up and trying to paper over the cracks to make it more palatable for the people of the UK.
I will gladly fight to stop this incompetent shower of s**t in Government from privatising us but
once we are then RM can go s**t all over their Granny Smiths because by then I will have given up and will just roll into work
and collect my paycheck while counting down the days until I can happily retire.

This was always going to be a problem Broxi....
Do you basically throw in the towel and try to protect what will be left or do you fight to the bitter end knowing you can't stop it?
The reason i hope...for defending the USO is because removing or reducing it will cost many jobs.
To be honest it's a dammed if you do,dammed if you don't scenario.
I don't think the CWU will admit the fight is over but....only a complete collapse in the coalition will stop it now.
So what do you do?

This is just Hayes and Ward trying motivate a union, that basically doesn't give a toss, to preserve their jobs for them. They'd be better of lobbying the government direct, instead of expecting hardworking RM staff to expect more pointless strike action.

Jack from this and previous post I believe it's you who don't give a toss, all you do is constantly have a go at the union, why don't you put your time into something positive which will help the union. But I bet you are just a freeloader!! . I nearly used bad language!
