does any one know how many dutys you have to pick that you can do on a revison when you are coverd by the dda ? no one seems to know in our office and we have two postman under the dda.

I thought on a repick you select the duty you prefer out of the ones that are left when its your turn.

3. People covered by DDA need to be offered suitable duties as a priority in the process re-pick

The key word is suitable.
Each individual dda case must be assessed on it's own merits.
This will be done on a 1 to 1 basis with the manager and a suitable duty will be found or constructed.
This must be done before the main repick starts.
There will be as many "dda duties" as you have dda cases but these duties will have to be individually tailored to suit each individuals medical condition so "pick" is not really a word i would use...allocate is closer to the truth.
You can't just throw half a dozen dda duties together and then say pick what you want.

so if there was only one duty some one could do under the dda they would get that duty? and if there was no duty that would suit does that mean royalmail would have to make adjustments for them thanks for the help we have never had this come up before so did not know how its to be dealt with i asked the area rep and he said that they had to pick 10 dutys but that did not make any sense because what if there is only one duty they could do

If it could be proved that, that duty is the only one that the individual can perform. Then yes. But RM could choose to provide different equipment, or make other changes, which would allow other duties to be performed. So it's not garanteed.
