UNOFFICIAL ACTION: THE RETURN TO WORK

When employees returned to work at the MC they were marched into various rooms 15 at a time by managers. We were then told that this is the return to work agreement and this is now the new rules.
Some of these incuded the loss af facility time for reps for 28 days and the restriction on overtime. By this which became evident as the day went on was the fact that there was mangers working beside postmen sorting mail and mail being diverted to other offices but no overtime being made available for MC employees.

This is obviously a tactic to get workers to walk out again as managers tried to instigate the spread of unofficial action yet failed.

That is why we must stay disciplined, be in touch with the media at all times and turn the underhand tactics on to them.

WE ARE BETTER THAN THEM AS AT LEAST WE ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR JOBS OUR PENSIONS AND OUR FUTURE....BY THE TIME ROYAL MAIL MANAGERS STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES IT WILL BE TOO LATE.

Managers won't stand up for themselves, brother. They have no backbone.

On Newcastles return to work, they were told that the rep was in the wrong refusing to handle the mail as it wasn't a diversion. BULLSHIT!!! It was black mail that should not have entered the system in the first place and the actions of the Newcastle rep were right and he deserves a pat on the back for sticking by his principles

Well done to Glasgow and Newcastle and everyone else for standing up for your rights!!!!
