Why are D2D's not coming together as agreed? We have no time to prep them

What is the lapsing agreement? We are doing it already due to being short staffed, Is this allowed?

My reply was: Work as instructed by line manager

Surely this working condition means anything can be forced upon us?

Totally agree , posties need to start detaching themselves from how RM is being run . I feel the CWU are getting some unfair critism on this forum , they don't have any responsibilty on how RM is being run . All the CWU can do is advise their members to take their brakes , work to the time they want to and use the equipment provided ( eg trolleys ) . Rm have the right to ask their employees to work the hours they are paid for , after that f**k the d*ck heads , it's their mess let them sort it .

I have checked the agreement and there is no mention of automation of D2Ds - IIRC it was something mentioned after and it had the usual clauses of financial and commerical viability. So I guess that probably means never.

Well not anything, it has to a be a reasonable request, not B&H, fair and you have to be trained on the tasks and in line with extant agreements and acts of parliemant as appropriate. Bu basically Yes.
