Annual leave advice needed

I've recently started a 4 day week (4 x 8hr days) so just wanted to know what happens when i book a weeks annual leave.
Do they class that as 5 days off my leave record or 4 ??

4 days for a week but you wont gain extra they will reduce your days down

What do you mean by "reduce your days down" . . .my leave intitlement is 29 days (I think) for 20 years service,are you saying the leave entitlement will reduce.

yes do you think youll get 29 days which would be 7 weeks one day ?

I'd imagine u'd get the same leave as before.

If u had 5 weeks off before the revision, u'll still get 5 weeks off.

Only grey area would be odd days.

But that is based on a 5 day week so as your are now PT you only get holiday pro rata. Otherwise you would be getting 5 days pay on your weeks off but getting 4 when your working - in other words you would be getting paid more when your on leave.

Edit - you will still get 6 weeks holiday but instead of if being made up of 6 x 5 days (30 in total) it'll be 6 x 4 days (24 days in total)

Your AL entitlement for over 20 years service is 6 weeks. As TBT says it is 6 weeks, whether it's a 4 or 5 day week.
