Quick help needed
I had a fall from my bike yesterday while travelling home from work and I have hurt my right knee and I am in quite a bit of pain. Today I have called in sick but been told that I MUST agree to go in for an interview witn my DOM this morning and they will pick me up. Problem is I dont want to go, I have called in sick and that should be the end of it. Are they allowed to do this? Sounds like bullying to me.

I agree should be the end of it. Your injured that's it end of. Tell him to get lost. There is ones in our place have rung in sick cause they are lazy but no call in to office. Ring someone from union this is harresment. Hope your not too sore.

Also if you had a fall yesterday have you been to casualty or your own doctor to get it checked out, if not I would suggest arranging that and also using it as a reason to postpone the interview.

first thing you should do is find out what the interview is for, from what you have said I have a sneaking suspicion its to fill in erica, if that's the case then 2 things you should know
1 the manager needs to fill this in within 48 hours of you accident and it will record some of the details of the accident initially and more in depth later on
2 more importantly, he can do the interview over the phone, make sure your rep is present whatever and beware it could be classed as refusing to comply with health and saftey by not having the interview

Thanks for the replies. They never got back to me and Never came round so sod them. Had the same s**t today though......
