Has everyone got their Wetherspoons vouchers ready for the after picket lunchtime discussion group? They were the most popular dtd ever delivered round here - customers were coming out asking for more.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

In Our office the strike breakers have been told not to come in until 0630, because us night guys will see them. I'm not quite sure how they are getting in at the moment. Most of them haven't got the nerve to use the front gate. I think we need a couple of ex Vietnam tunnel rats, to nip down our sewers with a flashlight and a .45 :dance.

keeping the support up!

Post by ray of sunshine »

We have had only 6 crossing the picket line out of 170 members.
2 wks ago, there were 6 waiting to go, the gates were locked. The dom was on the phone for the keys.20 postmen that were on the picket line just stared at them.20 mins later a phg rolled up with the keys.
Most people are not talking to those that went in, including me.
Last saturday i went on the picket line, low cut top and short skirt, gave my dom(who was outside watching us on the picket line) a eye full when i finally met up with my fellow postmen, one commented......"here's dessert!"
Lets hope it stops at 6 going in tomorrow.
As most of us are enjoying a lie in until 7am.

GREAT !!

Good Positive posts by everyone

Stick togeather and it will be WIN /WIN ( but not the way AL thought ! ) LOL !

I'll be on the picket line tomorrow.......

PS- anyone who's thinking of SCABBING tomorrow.....Think SENIORORITY---If we lose that will be NEXT on AL's 'must do' list
His 22 STRINGS would only be the start...He wants to screw every last drop of BLOOD out of us....then leave with a nice BIG payoff, then Screw some other poor company
I was sure I'd seen a bead of sweat on my line manager the other day - Until I realised that he had just brushed past me too close

We are lucky being in a DO with a night processing function as we get the two for one deal. :dance :dance With the added bonus that beacause we finish at 0630 we can tell our colleagues on deliveries which strike breakers snuck in. :mad :no no :no no
