A fellow worker was bitten while on delivery by a dog on saturday. Hes now gone off sick with the bite after refusing to do light duties as he cant stand for a long period of time. His manager has told his he will be refered to atos. Can they refer him to atos 1 day into his sickness, or do they have to wait till 7days self-cert is used. Hes not goin to be off long term, just till his bite on his leg heals.

They can refer at any time I think. He might be better off that way tbh. However, depends if he wants Xmas overtime or not as rehab plan= no O/T.
