Walk prep & delivery tests

has any rep got the info for "the correct procedure " in respect of delivery test and how the prep test is calculated ?

what happens if you are over your time?
simple, you are told you are far too slow and you must improve or you will be out the door.
you must realise that all the walks were planned by genuises, who never make mistakes.
and they are supported by other genuises who agree

i have been told by area rep to test a round to follow
wednesday,thursday,friday
duty holder,float,reserve on different days with d2d
your rep and manager/some one from that side
could be area rep or unit rep will follow you on test
and if your duty is close to time now for real and you do jop right
up and down paths etc. no manager wants to test because their know the answer before their go out
unless the round is too small and you should know that yourself if a manager asks to test a round then you got problems because he knows the answer

You must not check mail while walking for health and safety reasons so you stop at the gate or the door to flick check. This adds 5 to 10 mins per bag. You dont take short cuts over grass.

I asked my manager if prep had been calculated by a computer of timing someone. he did not know. this was after he said walks could be prepped in 45'!! we do not get sequenced mail.

one question, if you are cutting off can you phone in on the walk and say you will not complete or does it have to be before you go out. we are told the latter, I think this is because our managers knock off asap the can and cannot be contacted sometimes after mid day
