Due you mean cutting off??????????????????????????????/
I know it has happened twice in our office, one lost his job and the other didn't.
(or at least that is what I can remember ... I can check if it is important)
it will go down the conduct code as unauthorised absence.
a HR300 (form) is sent to HR to stop pay for the amount of hours you've been absent from duty and you will have to face an interview with your line manager to explain why you were absent.
so pay will be docked and it will stay on you records, but if it's a one off, nothing else will happen.
I walked out once, fecking LM kept bullying me. I went straight to the GP who signed me off with stress then I phoned the Bullying Helpline and put in a complaint against the LM. I returned a week later, nothing was said. The complaint against the manager was fully investigated and found in my favour.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
