TRANSFERS
have moved house to coventry but still comute to h-o-t everyday after my line manager told me not to put transfer in as id get one in 4 weeks but then when sorted my house out down there planned move with my gf was told sorry cant transfer aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggg

Once you have found an office with a vacancy inform your DOM also put your request in writing and keep a copy.
Your DOM will contact the office on your behalf you wish to transfer to or he should do.

Been there myself years ago subject to contract exchanges was promised transfer no plm, then back STAB! dont trust DOM at all nor line manager liar too!!!! demend transfer forms and if longer push for grievance hearing and support letter e.g. DDA? etc yes go to several local delivery see dom if vacancy there then go to your local DOM say you found one! then you gone 1 week happen to me local no vacancy but i went in and it got temporacy then transfer done and still there now ............ next time learn my lesson dont trust managersssssss.......

Same in my office too...two lads told that there were no transfers, so they visited the local DO's and found out there were vacancies so informed our DOM (Is there a replacement for ask Alan because that used to get results too) hey presto they were gone in a matter of weeks.
