In May of 2011 there will be local elections and devolved assembly election in approx 75 - 80% of the UK and there will also be a referendum on the voting system.
Therefore could I ask the CWU, via this forum, the following questions:
1. Will we get paid for ALL voting cards or only those sent not via DSA.
2. Will we get paid for election leaflets or will they be classed as D2Ds and covered under the Delivery Supplement.
3. Can we expect guidance on these subjects at least 2 months before 4 May to allow for local "difficulties" to addressed.
It would be good if we could address these questions sooner rather than later as it would be cheaper in the long run for both the Unions and RMs finances and both seem to be under some pressure.

As I understand it, Election material is NOT part of the new D2D agreement and the existing payments still stand.. I cannot be too sure about the material for the referendum due also next year..
Wouldnt be surprised if HQ and RM hadnt thought of it when the agreement was signed...

Teebs,good post,might be worth posting this on the CWU Facebook page,but with regards to our posts on there regarding the D2D in own time malarkey,might be best to not hold out too much for an answer.
