am i being harrased/bullied?

I go to work on time everyday (never been late) never had a day off sick
my boss constantly calls me in his office sits me down and gives a talking to about times and not being fast enough ect,,ect..2-3times EVERY week.
if i ask for a union member to be present he mentions nothing more about goin to office and drops it untill the next time were alone in the office.
i had accident the other week and taken off my route as its a huge walk with lots of large hills and steps and my GP recomended i done casual light work.
my manager knows hes to blame because i never had any WTL on bag weights ect...untill 2days after the accident when he tried to get me to sign a WTL document with last months date on it.(i never signed it)
he put me on packets saying it would be easier, it is i admit its a easy job....BUT today he said theirs 40packets so i want you finished within 2hours today (after counting their were 63 packets)...now bear in mind ive only had 4hours training on packets and not even covered all of the town, i am still in pain and not walking properly so i thought this was a high demand for me. am i wrong? or should 30 packets an hour be easy? lol
finally today he warned me about my ATOS meeting tommorow and said depending on the outcome if i dont tell ATOS im fit to work on my old route, then ther is no job for me, not sorting, not packets, nothing.....Even tho 3 new people start this week. more staff than ever. i have to go on sick he said unless i say im fit to work to atos.

contantly bein ignored by him, forced to work hard and fast to his unreasonable time scale. Deliberately preventing mefrom doing training. but the main thing is Deliberately undermining me the employee with excessive criticism.

im a P/T member off staff and only been with RM for 5 month, no WTL no work based training. been left to work things, jobs and find places for myself.

what can i do? or are all RM bosses the same?

Try and get through the 6 months/probation.

take notes on any and everything he says and does to you and then fire in a grievance form,he may back off then but he may also get really arsey with you but you have to have the balls to stand up to these idiots or they will make you time in this god forsken job even harder than it already is.

We are told 22 an hour including traveling time. No chance. Its more like 15/16. As for being bullied, probably yes. Most managers do what they can get away with. Need to learn to stand up for yourself. Not always easy, but remember to try to have a witness present who can verify what you say & do. Good luck.

Yoy should register your complaint via the phone numbers( google them both CWU if a member and RM). Make sure you take somebody or rep to your next meeting and inform him that any talk about your preformance could be ctreated as B & H. IAlso ask him what are the standards that the is making ref too,we don't have any agreed standards yet.
Also get the area safety& rep or if you wish to destroy this manager write directly too your local HSE dept and inform them that your employer has been breaching there H & S which has casued you to safer an injury.

I could ask the same question as the advice seems well thought out and well presented. If you have a different opinion perhaps you could explain your reasons rather than coming out with a single 1 line post that adds nothing at all to the debate, or perhaps more importantly, does not offer advice to the original poster.

One good tactic is whenever he comes to speak to you about anything, say "hang on a minute" and go get the nearest person to stand with you to hear what is being said. I did this with once with a tosser manager and most times he just stomped of in a huff. He eventually stopped speaking to me entirely.

I think only newstarts are supposed to weigh and record every bag, though random sampling (5%?) is still supposed to take place.

You're right CCR we have moved away from individual responsibility where nobody did it and the DOM filled the form in when everybody was gone to this new 5-15% sample system where the DOM completely ignores it and fills the forms in when everyone has gone.
