Split from - Who is a rep on here - thread because its off topic and the previous thread is give people an idea how many reps we have here and to use as a resource if they want - not to attack them.

BTW if you really think local reps take back handers then gather evidence and report it up the chain, if you don't get satisfaction then go above them till you get to HQ.

I also think its a bit rich taking out on all reps ok some are bad and some are dodgy just like posties can be, but the majority are hard working and do it for free and suggesting all reps take backhanders is just like joe public suggesting we are all thieves.

Perhaps this person..if he/she is a union member should stand as office rep if he/she thinks they can do a better job.To be honest people like this get right up my nose.Reps have a hard enough job to do as it is without back stabbers from the people the rep is trying to represent...

I agree that one bad apple doesn,t make a bad tree. However the problem that we all have is that local agreements will produce bad apples and unfortunately we are being represented at top level by a union that has planted local agreements all over the 2010 and Beyond agreement and it is open to abuse by local representatives that may not have the courage or maybe skills to fend off local managers that are using the local agreement to achieve the savings to enhance their own pay packets and careers. Local agreements will always cause problems and should never have been instituted into the national picture by this either careless or self preservationist union executive.

seems ive been miss understood ,lets put it another way ,with all the hours being taken out up and down the country im guessing the dom is going to get some kind of bonus ,true or not ?? by allowing this to happen it means i for one cannot always complete my duty,which does not bother me, not my problem just seems crazy the union are allowing it and not lodging disagreement .or is it a case of let royal mail completely feck it up then ask the union to put it right if so then ill shut the feck up but it does make you wonder
