Sevenoaks ( and I presume all of the TN postcodes ) is s'posed to be getting a ballot about the proposed Exec Action over late starts - might mean WTR, or another strike, but I'm still up for that.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!

Where's the SE result!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Dont know Postman,at first when i heard this i thought it was the result for both i spoke to a rep from our branch today and he told me it was just our lot ,your boys and girls must be seperate.

Its tied into the national dispute but is mainly about later starts which Royal Mail are starting to force in at every delivery office and slowly but surely its coming to a head - apparently my DO is at a stage 3 so IR Framework will start kicking in and then we will be balloted. This is the main reason but some DOs have different issues to go along with it.
Later starts at my office mean instead of mail being delivered between 9.00 and 12:30 on a normal day if they get their way it will be 10:15 and 13:45. Not good for local and small businesses.

In SE London we've had stuff being put in by exec action...
Nights going,later starts,duty cuts,40hr duties going to 30hrs.
This is just at the moment,we have summer lapsing 6 into 5 to be tried yet.
Basically it's what's being going on nationaly, but having an extra ballot gives us a bit of edge when the national one is sorted.
We want all the exec action taken away, and proper and reasonable negotiations to start.
