prep rates

Post by guvenor »

can anyone shed any light on prep rates at your frame
no time being allocated for d2d as mgmt are using prep times mail volumes against us
saying we have enough time to prep d2d as well as normal mail.
they are using prep rates of 22,23 or even 25 items per min and allowing 40min pt frame
and say 30 min on our own frame not including ips missorts etc.
what is new indoor workload tool prep rate has any agreement been reached on this our rep
thinks it might be 17 , 18 items per min
does this include tie up time
any help welcome could do with some info for wtl session tmrrw

Ours is 25 per minute, has been for a couple of years but our redirections/tie ups are extra at 20 minutes

ok here we go meeting with the dom this morning and all the staff just to update us with some info re future changes
wsm to come in to del office , we need to pick what saturdat specs we want although (what we want we might not get just
whats available :arrrghhh :arrrghhh ). also what delv span depending on ft/pt split we are already only 54% ft
every duty should be cdv as nearly all are over mile from office but htc still to be considered on some duties
full peg geo route revision to take place maximize hrs etc lapsing duties
all the usual stuff.
so my question "all these changes, workplans duties and that what prep rate and sorting rate are you using to plan deliveries"
answer the usuall rate we have always used because they still havn,t agreed new prep rate yet
is this a lie our old prep rate is 25 item per minute but thats for the one min test not whole duty structure
we still have no time built into duties for d2d
he did mention everything will be based on top 10% for everything :left:
i explained it didn,t matter about 10% some will always be top so everyone else will always try to catch up where does it end
answer :: when we reach final limit and we can,t go any higher
going to be a lot of greviences going in and b/h complaints with this culture
