Business Transformation 2010 & Beyond – National Processing Group (NPG)

Further to LTB 520/10 dated 10th June 2010.

Unfortunately an error in the formatting of the document has been identified which resulted in some important information being omitted from the content in relation to the members of the Postal Executive who have been allocated to cover specific Divisions/Regions.  Reproduced below is a redraft of the relevant section of the LTB with the allocation correctly recorded, my apologies for any inconvenience this error may have caused to my colleagues in the field.

Discussions took place in line with the Nationally agreed remit for the Group with the Union emphasising the importance of ensuring that the terms of the Agreement are adhered to going forward and in particular the timescale applicable to the review process.

In accordance with the aims of the Agreement and to ensure that Field Representatives are provided with appropriate support from the National Union, the following Postal Executive members have been allocated to cover specific Divisions/Regions who will provide an interface between Field Representatives and CWU Headquarters.

I note that the use of the of the CWU’s Divisional structure is out with the current Business Regional setup however I do not see this as an obstacle to developing our approach to co-ordinating the Union’s response to Mail Centre/MDEC Rationalisation going forward.
