stage warning length

hi folks

does a stage warning run from your last day of absense to the same day 12 months later or from when dom issues it
as my last day of absense was 6th april last year and i have contacted payroll and they have said that it runs till 22nd may 2010 my dom at the time did the interview in april but left shortly after then the dom that arrived in may altered the date on my stage 2 print off as i noticed a spelling mistake he had made when editing the month.where do i stand with this

It's from the date the warning gets issued,the problem being that managers are taking the piss with the time from the last day of sickness to the stage warning meeting.

Official guidlines are that the interview has to be 'within a reasonable time frame',which is where they are taking the piss.
I and many on here have had these instances and we demand the date gets put back to say a week after the last day of absence.
Stage warnings down my way usually come down about a week after we came back off sick.

If manager has alterd the date that is fraud!,get your rep involved obviously,and try to contact your previous manager as well.

well ive been gathering information today regarding this and last day of absense was 7th apr 09 dom had me in for meeting on 17th apr 09 and then made decision to issue me stage 2 on 23rd apr 09 he then left and dom which took over decided to get me to sign it nearly a month later and changed the date to 23rd may 09 where do i stand with this as it seems a bit untoward i lost my copy of stage 2 and he didnt even print it off and put it in my file as acting dom today as been very helpful and looked high and low for me.spoke to my rep today and he thinks it should have been wiped off my file

Play them at their own game. If they are gonna take the piss with regards your stage interview, do what i do. Take another sick on the house !!! They will soon issue you your stage on return from your second absense.
