Dear Colleague

ROYAL MAIL DISPUTE

We would like to thank all Postal Workers for their tremendous turnout and overwhelming support in the Strike action that has taken place over the 12/13th July.

The Union established a reporting process, covering every Branch and area of the country. Reports on the ground demonstrate this is the most well supported Strike action undertaken on a national basis with over 98% support.

We all know, as stated in previous correspondence, Royal Mails’ Business Leaders are well versed in the world of P.R and spin. They will endeavour to dampen down the real level of support for the strike. However, we are countering this with our own media communications.

The Union’s Executive will be meeting next week to outline our next steps. In the meantime, we would like you to pass on our thanks to the members in your workplace.

Yours sincerely

Dear Billy and Dave,

Can we now step up the action so Royal Mail realise we're serious about getting a negotiated settlement. Let's go for the jugular and get this sorted!
