Why are the cwu reps so determined to get a yes vote on the proposal. Dont give me all the bullshit about preserving full time jobs etc etc. Before your "union meetings" nationally and when we were all stood together with you on the picket line, you were totally against such deals especially for delivery staff.SO WHY?

Apparently the talks were very open & honest, RM shared all about the state of the business, both good & bad,
so i guess you could say the reason is - REALISATION

2 choices:
First choice: vote no and whilst we are on the picket RM push through changes, Tories in and privatisation comes in, Union sidelined, members go back under different contracts. Just my opinion.
Second choice: vote yes union involvement, realisation that industry cannot stay as it is, increase in basic over 3 years, no compulsory redundancies (yet), mechanisation, VR packages second to none, bonuses for change.

Its called the real world of capitalism with profit maximisation being the goal!

Or vote NO and bring about the total destruction of RM, at least that way the managers and the union reps would also be out of a job (and they would struggle to ge another job with their lack of skills).

The agreement has done nothing to deal with any of my issues that I went on strike for (the impossible workload, the bullying, the pettiness etc.) and TBH I could cope with the paycut if I had any sort of resolution to the main issues.

im not voting yes for a rubbish deal just because of fear of the outcome, i will take that risk and vote no

lol, yeah right, so why was it rushed through before crozier left, why didn't they wait to see what ideas the new man had, realisation my arse this is about how much money they could make out of it, this company is a cash cow to higher managment of this company and our top reps in CWU
