Manager told me this morning that she was told not to worry about the new agreement and dont pay any attention to it
She has been told to get as many savings in through the buisness plan especially as we have no union rep
She is looking to take hours out even though we are down to the bare bone (RM want approx 100 hours a week saving)
Alot of men and women working beyond finish times as present - thought maybe we might get hours put back in (no chance)
Looks like we are going to get screwed in the next round of this fight (can we call it a fight as CWU just accept everything RM want)

if you don't have a union rep in your office you should defo call in your area rep

Dom thinks agreement is great idea.

But hearing hours to be cut everywhere is amazing,but sure this ties in withe the agreement ?

I believe the proposed Agreement requires a Delivery Revision, so any hours that are due to come out will have to go back into the office and be subject to an Office Revision.

I am sure I will be corrected on that if found otherwise

I'm all for getting our duties revised and retested to accommodate all these new door to doors BUT what concerns me is how they are going to test us. Whatever happened to the one minute test that is union ratified? This is never done in our office, it is always a case of having all letters counted and timed until last letter tied off.

I guarantee now, that no matter how fast you put those letters in the frame the prep rate will not meet their standards and more stuff will get added to your duty. This is still a grey area for me and I never know to believe the bullsh/t figures that are given to me.

our manager took hours out very slyly a few weeks back, we had quick meeting told him that no changes were to be made until everything was settled nationaly so he had to reverse things ha ha ha, he wasnt a happy bunny or his manager who is coming soon to tell us we got o acept these changes, well he can f off to we dont care, a national agreement is what it says so tough
