doing the job properly

in all of my years service i don't think i've seen delivery staff so angry and worked up-its about time.
there are 2 main ways for you to show your anger from a delivery point of view:-
1.VOTE NO
2.START DOING YOUR JOB PROPERLY.NO EARLY STARTS,TAKE YOUR MEAL BREAKS WHEN YOUR DUE THEM FOR AS LONG AS YOUR DUE TO,CUT OFF AT THE PRESCRIBED TIME AFTER INFORMING YOUR LINE MANAGER THAT YOU HAVE TOO MUCH MAIL TO DELIVER IN THE SET TIME.

this may hurt you in the short term but believe me when i say it will hurt your slave driving managers a hell of a lot more if you refuse to be the slaves.

REMEMBER-YOU ARE ONLY CONTRACTED TO WORK (CURRENTLY) 40 HOURS AND THEY CAN'T MAKE YOU WORK LONGER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO.


AND FINALLY I SAY THIS-"DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN".

Actually its really theraputic doing the job properly, you know everyday what time you will finish, you take less mail out with you or you bring it back when you cut off. Its like being in a surreal world ,where you are going at normal speed and all the rest of the feckin idiots are running around at amazing speed just to try and finish 10 minutes early. Doing the job properly means you havent got time to absorb, well if you cant do your own walk on time how the hell can you do part of another one?

Doing the job properly means you can do all your d2d , you prep them in your time and you put them in your frame with your mail, its there guidelines,. no less than 20% per day. Best of all , doing your job properly means you can watch your linos run around finishing your walk off.

But doing the job properly does mean you will be the centre of attention by the " management" so be in for a bit of a rough ride , but once they realise you are doing the job properly , using there own rules ,then they just accept it in the end .
JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO " DO IT PROPERLY"

we sign in when we arrive first thing and sign out when we leave to go out to our walks . No one seems to check these times and as you know some people are a bit ecomomical with the truth...

Makes you wonder if national negotiations would be necesary if we all did the job correctly.Those who run the service would have surely been forced to confront the shareholder by now....the pension issue would of had to be resolved as the management would of had to put hours back in. They would of shyed away from Pegasus becuase once they input low call rates and high walk speeds the software makes cuts.
