Hi all,
Can anyone help? I have a member who is about to hit half pay. They have been told they can have their wages topped up by the state because it was a accident at work. Can anyone guide me to the correct forms they should fill in for this? I went on the work and pensions web site but had no joy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Half pay
If your branch has a legal and medical officer, then they should be able to answer all your queries.

Re: Half pay
the accident does need to be recorded as an industrial accident by the DWP who (in our area at least ) operate out of the job center.
If they have filled out the LS3 form get someone from branch to talk them through the next phase

Re: Half pay
I have just completed 12 months on full pay, at first they said I would drop to half pay after 6 months but because it was an AOD my union rep said I was entitled to 12 months full pay
.
I had already reported it to DWP and they had ruled it an industrial accident, my dim just needed a copy of the letter stating so, I think they sent an e-mail to wages and all was fixed, hope this helps a little.
