I had to phone for a ambulance Saturday morning for my mother who had collapsed and so could not go to work I also had today and yesterday off because I was stressed out. I had a phone call this morning from the manger this morning saying he had used my annual leave which I was owing of three days and that I should attend work tomorrow not very sympathetic. My query is should Saturdays day have counted is as one as it was a emergency thanks David

He does not have to pay you for Saturday but he is not allowed to take it off annual leave without your say so. The other two days can be taken as illness.
