Ive read some where on this site that an announcement is being made on the 22 Jan with regards to what over the poster didnt say but at a guess i would say the ongoing talks.
Im just wondering whether any reps have received notification from there branches of a delivery meeting on the 24 Jan which is a sunday .I my well be being parnoid but to have this a sunday it has to be rather important and comes 2 days after the alledged announcement surely we can not be the only branch holding this meeting on the 24th .
Any more got a meeting on this day.

I would imagine this could be the "This is the deal now run along and sell it to your members" briefing.
Oh and if they ask any questions tell them
"It's the best deal we could have hoped to achieve under the circumstances.....protecting full-time jobs....modernisation.....falling mail volumes etc etc........"
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Re: Rep meeting 24 Jan
Well it looks like my branch leaders are in for a shock when i inform them that i will not sell longer del spans and an increase in d2ds accompanied by the loss of payment to the members i represent. Infact i will be doing my upmost to gain support for a rejection of the alleged deal.
Then i will inform them i will be resigning as rep and with drawing my union subs.
