sick pay eligibility

sick pay eligibility

i started work in April should i get paid if i am in hospital a&E ( non work accident 2 days off, 1 of which was my day off anyway) and do i get paid if i then work aleit on light duties at the request of my manager when i have a sick note for two weeks.
On another note is there a list of all acronyms used in the Royal Mail , we seem obsessed with them DOM IPS etc etc :hmmmm

No - for the first year you don't get full sick pay only SSP - Also as it was your day off your not paid for it anyay -

But the 2 you listed are

PHG - Postman Higher Grade (Now a defunct grade - as with mangers when Team Leaders are phased in)
IPS - Inward Primary Sorting

Teebs, when they bring in Team Leaders, the managers will indeed be called mangers, on account of all the crying they'll be doing :dance
