Over 60
I am almost 62 and have had a inside job as PHG for 20 years. Question 1:- Can I be made to go on a walking delivery. Question 2:- I have heard that anyone over 60 should not use a cycle for delivieres due to health and safety.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Over 60
I'm not sure about the cycle issue, but age isn't a concern to RM with deliveries so probably yes. A union man on here would be able to answer question better.

I'm 63 and ride cycles on test and as far as I know I have never heard of an age restriction on cycles- just as a matter of interest, why would it be a health and safety issue?

Re: Over 60
It's only a health and safety issue if you can't ride a bike - and might I say dvbuk55 - your photo doesn't make you look older than 9 (in dog years of course) "thinks....isn't that about 63?"dvbuk55 wrote:I'm 63 and ride cycles on test and as far as I know I have never heard of an age restriction on cycles- just as a matter of interest, why would it be a health and safety issue?
