Re: AT LAST A UNION WITH B@LLS
I've been reading the headlines for months about BA and how they would be going on strike before xmas.
Good on them i say, and they certainly have a stronger union than ours, thats for sure.

Lets wait until the 22nd, I bet they agree to 'talks'
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum

Funny you should say that, I was talking to a flight steward who lives on my walk near Heathrow today and he was saying the top HR bloke fighting the union for BA is an ex top RM HR boss - he did say his name but I can't rememberTrueBlueTerrier wrote:Have you noticed the tactics of the Managers, press and Bosses is exactly the same as it was with our IA.![]()

Re: AT LAST A UNION WITH B@LLS
Dont worry we will be going on strike after christmas how goods that
- BA staff voted 9 to 1 you watch um get exactly what they want by the new year. Within the next couple of inflated years our pay at RM will barely meet with the minimum wage. What was our last pay rise (1.9% ?) over 3 years thats not a good deal

Re: AT LAST A UNION WITH B@LLS
http://www.rmtbristol.org.uk/2005/08/se ... terer.htmlOur insider said a solicitor was consulted. The source said: "He said if staff could be provoked into unofficial action they could all be sacked and have no legal redress. It would also mean the company could seek damages from individuals."
Scarey.
No I'm not being paranoid, they really are out to get me.

and on an 80% turnout. Impressive, when you consider turnout in our ballot was a lot less, despite most of us walking past several postboxes every day and yet seemingly unable to care enough to post our ballot paper back so it can add weight to our fightziko wrote: BA staff voted 9 to 1 you watch um get exactly what they want by the new year
