Have been told today that you will not be getting a day in lieu if your rest day falls on boxing day. Anyone else been told this??

Its an in sevice day and you will not get a days credit if its your day off im afraid.

What a load of rubbish!!! So that weeek i'll be working 4 days and my colleagues will only be working 3 days for the same money. :no no :no no :no no

Keep an eye on your hours, you may find that your workmates may have to make up the hours so make sure you don't.

Might not be right RQ but thats the rub im afraid, last time I can remember it happening was Princess Di funeral.

Wouldn't put it past em to extend the working time by 2 hrs every day, in the past we have had to come back after doing the walks to do more IPS or anything else they can dream up!! :roll:

As the official bank holiday falls on the Monday (and you're off Sat and Mon) you will get a bank holiday credit for the Monday. Also you get paid as if you had worked the Friday. Some you win, some you lose.
