walks been turned into a monday to friday duty

theres a duty in the office i work that the manager thinks he is going to turn into a mon-fri duty. this is a van duty that delivers mail to farms,firms and industrail estates and also does the packs for 4 walks in residental areas. the boss reckons because not all of the delivery points are open for deliveries on a saturday this duty can become monday to friday only with the rest of the duty that does go on a saturday to become overtime!! but that includes the packets for 4 deliveries and what about the floater? we are going to register a disagreement with the bosses tomorrow but even though its plan to see the boss is dreaming if he thinks its going to work, i was wondering if anyone has been through this has some kind of silver bullet for me, like does this break royal mails 'USO' comitment

Easy to screw up his plan.Nobody does it on overtime on a saturday then he can do it.

Hi we had a van duty on mon-fri the saturday duty was split up between all the other van duties it worked well, but nobody knows how and when it was put back to a six day duty.

we lost a float duty 2 years ago for 5 mon-fri with the sats covered by 7hour contract part timers 7 hour contracts dont do ips

USO is a 6 day week service. So the DOM is talking shite. Unless I've missed something, USO is legally binding.
