ive been suspended from work after getting accused for claim 1hr overtime after a fact finding interview ive had my next interview with the s**t excuss french an he said i will get my desition in 10days time the rep says it doesnt look good can i go on the sick with depresion as i am depresed an keep delaying the d day or if im a gonna will he just give me it in writting as im fed up any advice please

Are you a CWU member if so, you really need to speak to your local Rep, if he isnt available phone your branch and ask for a rep to be made available.

Yes. It a pity they didnt offer more to help the poor womwn. I've notice lately that more and more tossers come out of the woodwork just to have a go at somebodys spelling/grammar. I agree hers and some other posts are hard to read, but I rather try and put the effort into helping them than rip into them because their use of English/education wasnt up to much.

what was your defence in your interview sharon? if i were you id go off with depression and stress if you win and put in a grivance so they have something to worry about, and whatever is said ALWAYS deny it

I've done my best to help Sharon - it's been hard going trying to read the posts and importantly using my experience to read between the lines , that I will use ; but I've tried to be hard but fair & constructive about it .

For what I can work out , it seems that certain union representatives & even some posters are a bit frightened about the controversy going by all the posts it's a bit of a can of worms , that some people would prefer the lid was kept on

lled the union today an the interview notes are on the way i asked him if i should put a grivence in an he said it wont make any difference i feel that im not getting any support from him as i keep mentionion if im dismissed i will appeal straight away for unfair dismisall for being treated different to the other guy ive also spoke to the solicotor an she says i will have a case but union man said ive just to get on with it an see what the outcome is an me an my colleage are 2 different cases but how can we when we are both charged with gross misconduct for fraud claiming overtime

Do you know the outcome of the other worker? has he kept his job?

And also: just to be clear, have you claimed for OT that wasn't agreed with your DOM, i.e. you put it down off your own back knowing you would never worked that 1 hr?
