WERE DO I STAND ON HARRASMENT AND BULLYING

MY manager has got it in for me big time .
last sat my wife was knocked over by a dog when out walking with our dog and after waiting for an ambulance for 1/2 an hour she was taken to hospital with a badly dislacated kneecap ,we got her home that night and she is suffering badly on 1 crutch and a brace which can be removed but she cant do a lot , the little lad who is twelve puts her socks on and other bits for her .
i told the manager about my problem and asked if i could come in half an hour early each day so as to get round my delivery and go straight home to tend to her yes no problem .mon , tues, wed,thursday no problem apart from wed my round was tested and with the managers adamant it was only just under 3 and a half hours it took me 4 hours fifty minutes they were not impressed .any way to cut a long story short sat the day after the strike we were all told to do a full delivery thus taken all streamed mail out if you had to much mail . i eventually got my bags all ready to go out and asked for a lift to my first delivery .they said i had to wait half an hour for a lift and tryed to make me take my meal relif in our crappy canteen, there was at least four people who could have taken me out but they refused to free them from sorting mail sort flats .i asked again and said about the flexability and that they owed me two hours fifteen minutes this week. go and take your meal relif was all i got . i then mentioned my wife at home on crutches and that i really wanted to get a lift sraight away nothing except i advise you to go and have your meal relif. i was stressed out big time i was like a raging bull my rep was long gone on his own delivery with it been a sat . i have since spoken to my rep and he is also raging and i have told him i am thinking about going to the quacks .any thoughts guys . cheers

Go sick mate, doc will have no problem giving you a line for stress after you have explained the last week to him/her & then go down the B&H procedure.

Go your docs and get a note as your DIM is putting you under work related stress he will give you a note for 2 weeks i bet.

Remember family comes before work mate unfortunately you have to fight fire with fire in R/M these days so much for being a caring employer what a load of tosh.

i ,ve just come back on line ,and my union rep also advised me to go to the doctors , the doctor said i am depressed and stressed out . signed me off for two weeks . and guess what the same cronnies phoned me up on the monday and asked if there was anything they could do to help me a lift to the doctors anything just ring the office .you could,t make it up i have kept the recording for my union rep to listen to . thanks for all your kind replies lad .
