I fu(king dispair with the cwu sometimes , we`ve just had the biggest yes vote for strike action ever (76%)...67% turnout,
And i`ve just heard dave ward on 5 live saying "if royal mail come to the table then we won`t strike" WTF !!!
Dave, we now have the power....listen to your members, don`t f**k it up this time.

Agree, We must not be hoodwinked into stalling on agreements and the promise of jam tomorrow. The union has to pay no attention to public opinion it makes no difference. In our area the local council has approved a new 3,000 home town. This despite a record number of objections from the public. All that matters is causing maximum disruption to the mail service in as short a space of time as possible. This will force the politicians to act and put pressure on RM to resolve the issues.

I was aware that billy & dave don`t have the authority ....just making a point about the slackness of this union !!
And FFS why are they meeting in 5 days time ?? they should be meeting this afternoon !!.....unbelievable !

They are there to keep the system running as smoothly as possible. It's the rank and file who are there to fight for our rights and sometimes our enemies include the trade union leaders.

My rep reckons no strike until November, we are going to give them a chance to negotiate beforehand, which also shows we are being reasonable to the public. I'm all for it whenever they decide, it is very unfair on all the individual offices that have been striking for the last few months though, we should stop paying labour now and give the money to those members :cfo

How long have London and other places been striking without support. We have to show RM and Mandelson we mean business and f**k them up.

Wait for them to state how they are taking RM business, which they will! Then stop handling their stuff for a week or two, and make it known through the media.
