National Industrial Action Ballot over Royal Mail’s Failure to Reach a National Agreement Covering Protection of Jobs, Pay, Terms and Conditions and the Cessation of Managerial Executive Action
Further to LTB 771/09 dated 10th September 2009 please find attached the results of the above Industrial Action Ballot. The union must now take steps to inform all those entitled to vote in the ballot of the following information;
Votes cast in the ballot
Individuals answering “Yes” to the required question (or questions)
Individual answering “No” to the required question (or questions)
Spoiled papers
Accordingly all branches will need to take immediate steps to ensure that the details of the ballot result are displayed / circulated to each and every workplace of all those entitled to vote in the ballot.
You must also remind them that only the National Executive Council has the authority to instruct members to take industrial action.

Still do not know what happened to 4 ballot papers that never arrived in our office,wonder how many more went missing.

What is more important than democracy for we have exercised that right and those that did not for it did not matter much to them maybe they are the same ones who moan about everything yet do nothing!. MOST OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION DID NOT VOTE FOR ANY OF THE MAJOR UK PARTIES IN THE LAST GENERAL ELECTION. AND NO ONE VOTED FOR THIS TWAT :cfo OR THIS C^^T :mfo !.
