London Strikes

Post by Lowkeyizsik »

Does anyone know if the strikes for london deliveries on Wednesday 14th October have been confirmed?
I know we are out on Saturday, and heard a rumour about the 14th.
My rep at my DO hasnt heard anything.
Clarification would be appreciated.

Yes London are out on strike on Wednesday. All apart from 10 south west london offices who are out on strike monday as well as Saturday. Thanks for you amazing support thus far but we have to keep the pressure up. However we believe that national action will take place the following week and if so the London strikes will take a pause whilst national action takes place.

Gotta say a little break would be appreciated! Although tbh we are getting used to the 5 day week now :Very Happy .Personally think nationally we need to crank up to 2 days a week with the rolling action. With one part of the network out every day RM will never cope. Hit them hard and lets get this s**t sorted PROPERLY this time. Its all so unneccesary. Its just a shame the clowns who are ruining the company :cfo cant see that us posties are their greatest asset. Anyway made my day today when one of my customers asked about the strike and offered his opinion on our chief exec. "C.U.N.T."
