1500 managers to be bussed into London to perform work

I have been advised by a Senior Officer of the CWU that a senior manager from Royal Mail has confirmed that Royal Mail have drafted 1500 managers into London to attempt to clear the packet backlog and they are using white vans instead of Royal Mail vehicles.

We need to put as much pressure on "Unite" as possible please contact any Unite official possible and ask them to contact messrs Derek Simpson, Tony Woodley and Paul Reuter to stop their members performing our work.

hi we have had managers come in to our office at E15 with their overnite bags to do diversion work for south london.
I am sure they were being put up at hotels and our resident scab was making breakfast for them

Did anyone miss their managers today? Without our DOM the whole office ran much more smoothly and everyone got on with the work........................maybe these managers should watch out, it's really obvious that they are really surplus to requirements and could be just got rid of without much notice being taken

Heard today from a colleague who's brother works in London that Managers from Belfast had been FLOWN IN to do one hours work in London then flown back home again, costcutting measures eh, lol, anyone else confirm this?

Yes, Admin Managers from Belfast are being flown over Business Class to London (Wimbledon) to deliver a couple of priorities, then have the rest of the day to sightsee. Being put up in individual rooms in hotels at £180 a night ! You couldn`t make it up!

It is not all managers scabing in London some are CWU grades who are acting managers. There should be a site to name and shame these people. After all they will get the benefit of any industrial action.
