RM are operating a scab operation in Dartford

Please find attached a newspaper advert that confirms that RM are operating a scab operation in Dartford (not on RM premises) to sort London mail..

Please ensure members are aware of Rm tactics. Also note the wages offered - £5.80 per hour. is anymore evidence needed that RM want to try and smash the CWU and cut pay and conditions.

These people must be stopped they are out of control.

Manpower again. I hope the union follow this up because supplying agency staff to carry out striking workers jobs is illegal. If I remember correctly ,any agency found guilty is liable to pay a large fine and the directors are barred from operating in this field for 10years

Strange though isn't it ,thinking of 2007 "our most bitter dispute"and all that,tends to suggest no holds barred ,go for the throat, yet the union fails to challenge a perfidious employer for clearly breaching employment law,yet crumbles itself when legally challenged by the employer

The bulk of our mail from Mount Pleasant is being sent to this scab office -
and most of the rest to Jubilee Mail Centre (Isleworth) and HWDC.
I see that RM are expecting them to be needed for the next 4 months.

The only thing that really concerns me with this strike is how fragile and inept the union seem, they must get there act in order. We cannot have strikes the way they were conducted like this again
