Agency Staff

Do agency staff have the same rights as RM staff? Do they have right of appeal?

If your put on a 'banned list' in other words 'sacked', can you appeal or al least put your case?

If for example you are give 6 hours to do a walk inc sorting and it takes you considerably longer, because you are new to it, are you expected to complete it, or are you within your rights to return undelivered mail after 8-9 hours? I have actually worked 12 hours and only being paid half that. So if the managers did not like it and told the agency you are 'banned' and not to be used again, do you have right of appeal? Or you dont have a leg to stand on because you are not a RM employee?

Would like to know

If someone is taking 12 hours to prep and deliver a walk I can understand RM not wanting that person back.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

You know that agency staff are treated like crap (of course they also come in thinking the job is really easy and that any idiot can do it but they do get their eyes opened  ), the last time agency staff came into my office, there where 3 of them just to deliver 1 town duty...................they never turned up again :hmmmm .

As for the original posters question, I wouldn't think that there would be any appeal, best to just forget RM and get yourself a better job that's permenant and you don't get treated as badly.

Agency staff have no rights anywhere, not just RM, well none that extend beyond 24 hours! :cry if they don't want you back you wont be coming back.
However i don't see how they could possably refuse to pay you for hours that you have worked. get the agency you worked with on the case, they probaly stand to gain from you being payed the correct amount anyway, but i'm afraid your in their hands.

:nana just remember, when you work for agencies--you can also ;blacklist the company. If you have worked for them for some tome, and have a good reputation, they normally listen to you.I'd point them in the way of recent press releases
about R/M. Management.
