suspension limbo

looking for a bit of advice here regarding suspensions. any idea how long you should wait to hear what the situation with your case is? been suspended for 6 days now and my manager is away for 2 weeks but surely i should be kept informed of whats happening ,no?

A suspension must be reviewed every 48 hours, you must contract your local rep or your branch if you are not being called in for an interview

no hard and fast rules...they kept me suspended for about 3 months before they sacked me...used to get a little letter pushed through my letterbox AFTER I had rung them and threatened to return to work because I had heard nothing after each 48 hours elapsed....

they will do what they like until they have to face a public forum....July,Nottingham, 17 days at an Employment Tribunal....can't wait!

ET judge already said dismissal is likely to be automatically unfair to start with, bearing in mind the time taken to reach internal appeal....now due end of April....
