would the drop in share prices mean my pension lump sum and weekly pension be less if i took it now than someone with the equivalent contributions who took it say a year ago cheers

RM pension is currently a Final Salary Pension, ie it is based on your final salary, and the number of
years you have put in. Your pension would not be affected by the fall in the stock market, although the
value of the total fund might be.
