Summer lapsing in Winter??!!!!
Can someone please explain to me how it is that management can turn round to my entire office, and tell us that we are 'summer lapsing' every tuesday from next week? Is this actually part of the agreement? or are they just taking the piss as usual?

It's not summer lapsing it's phase 3 lapsing, it's been going in my DO from the summer (even though I have never done it because of time constraints

It is how the phase 3 agreement is interpreted. The bottom line is, RM want us to work every minute we are paid for, so if we finish early they want that time back, or used by taking out some of another delivery. The key wording used in the agreement is "where time exists within normal hours". If there is not enough time in your normal hours to do this THEN DONT DO IT. SIMPLE

But people are stupid, someones else is doing my round this week, they said, I'm not getting back to early (like half and hour to an hour before me), 'How are you managing that, then?" says I, "oh, I'm running around, but thats ok, I'm going home early" ..... Duh!!!!silverback wrote:The key wording used in the agreement is "where time exists within normal hours". If there is not enough time in your normal hours to do this THEN DONT DO IT. SIMPLE
